Legal stuff.
Plain English where possible. If anything isn't clear, drop a line to hello@multima.co.uk.
Terms of use.
This website (www.multima.co.uk) and the Multima apps are run by Multima Limited (Company No. 14963980), registered in England and Wales at Swatton Barn, Badbury, Swindon, Wiltshire SN4 0EU. By using the site or the apps, you agree to the rules set out below. These terms also apply to any future domains and apps operated by Multima Limited.
Terms like these can be full of legal jargon. We've tried to write this in plain English where possible. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or the apps. Simple as that.
1. Who we are
Multima Limited provides bespoke business advice and consultancy, and education including workshops and training. We also publish apps and tools that put ideas from our work into a form you can use yourself.
2. Using the website and apps
You're welcome to browse, read, watch and share content from this site, and to use our apps, for personal use or for use within your own business. You must not use them for anything unlawful, offensive, or that breaches someone else's rights, and you must not try to break, reverse engineer or overload them.
We may restrict or block access to anyone misusing the site or the apps.
3. Accounts
Some apps let you create an account so your work is saved and available across devices. You're responsible for keeping your login details private and for what happens under your account. You can delete your account from within the app, or by emailing us, and we'll remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on this site and in the apps (text, video, images, tools, downloads, frameworks and so on) belongs to Multima Limited or its licensors. Please don't copy, reproduce or use anything without permission, other than for your own personal or internal business use. Anything you create inside an app (your own notes, plans and entries) stays yours.
5. Liability limits
We do our best to make sure everything here is accurate, but we can't promise it's all perfect, all the time. Content in the site and the apps is general information only, not advice. You use it at your own risk.
We're not liable for any losses, damage or disruption caused by your use of the site or the apps, or reliance on any content, including content from third parties. Our full disclaimer is in the Disclaimer section.
6. External links and third-party services
Sometimes we link to other websites or platforms, and the apps rely on third-party services to run. We're not responsible for what those third parties do, say or collect beyond what's described in our Privacy Policy. They'll have their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Changes to these terms
We might update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll post the updated version here. Your continued use means you're happy with the changes.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
9. Contact
If you've got questions about these terms, drop us a line at hello@multima.co.uk.
Privacy policy.
We respect your privacy and we're committed to protecting your personal data. This section explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it, across the website and the Multima apps.
1. Who we are
The website and apps are run by Multima Limited (Company No. 14963980), whose registered office is Swatton Barn, Badbury, Swindon, Wiltshire SN4 0EU. If you've got any questions, email hello@multima.co.uk.
We're the "data controller", which means we decide how your information is used.
2. What we collect
We only collect what we need, and only when you choose to give it to us. That might include:
- Your name and email address, if you contact us or create an account in an app
- Your phone number, if you give it to us
- Anything you type into an app that has an account: your entries, plans, notes and answers
- Basic technical information needed to run the apps, such as device type, app version and crash reports
- Your approximate location, inferred from your IP address by our hosting providers for security purposes
- Payment data, if we ever charge for something, processed by a secure third-party provider and never stored by us
Apps that don't ask you to sign in keep your entries on your device and send nothing to us.
3. Why we collect it
We use your data to:
- Respond to your enquiries
- Run the apps, save your work and keep it in sync across your devices
- Send you updates or content you've asked for
- Fix bugs and improve the site and apps
- Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
We do this under the lawful basis of legitimate interest, consent (where required), or to fulfil a contract where you've asked us for something, including providing an app you've signed up to.
4. Sharing your data
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the providers we need to run things:
- Supabase, which stores app accounts and app data on our behalf
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and some app services
- Apple and Google, who process app downloads and in-app purchases on their own terms
- Email and CRM tools we use to reply to you and send content you've asked for
- Secure payment processors, if we ever charge for something
Each of these acts as a "processor" under our instructions and is bound by a data processing agreement. We'll never spam you. If you ever want to unsubscribe from anything, click the link in the email, or tell us at hello@multima.co.uk.
5. Where your data is stored
Where a provider lets us choose, we host app data in the UK or the EU. Where data is processed outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy decisions and the international data transfer agreement.
6. How we protect your data
Your data is stored securely, with access limited to those who need it. Connections between the apps and our servers are encrypted, and data is encrypted at rest by our providers. We check that any third-party provider meets UK GDPR standards.
7. How long we keep your data for
We keep your data only for as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected. If you delete your account, we delete your account and your app data within 30 days, other than anything we're legally required to keep. If you ask us to delete data we hold outside the apps, we'll sort that promptly.
8. Deleting your account
In any app with an account, you can delete it from the settings screen. That removes your account and everything stored under it. If you'd rather we do it, email hello@multima.co.uk from the address on the account.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you've got rights. You can:
- Ask to see what data we hold about you
- Request corrections
- Ask us to delete your data
- Withdraw consent, if you gave it
- Object to certain types of processing
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're not happy with how we've handled something
To do any of these, email hello@multima.co.uk.
10. Children
Our site and apps aren't aimed at anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
11. Cookies
See the Cookie Policy section below.
12. International access
The site and apps may be used from anywhere, but all data is processed and managed under English law.
13. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy if anything changes. The version on this page is always the current one.
Disclaimer.
The website and apps are run by Multima Limited, and everything in them is provided in good faith but is not provided as specific or professional advice.
1. General info only
All content on www.multima.co.uk and in the Multima apps is for general information purposes only. Nothing here is professional advice: legal, financial, business or otherwise. Frameworks and tools in the apps are there to help you think, not to make decisions for you.
We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness or usefulness. You use the site and the apps, and anything you get from them, entirely at your own risk.
2. No liability
We won't be held responsible for:
- Any loss or damage (direct or indirect) from using the site or the apps
- Relying on any content or tools we provide
- Issues caused by downtime, bugs, errors or lost data
- Content from third parties or external links
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we exclude all liability. If you're not happy with the site, the apps or this policy, your only option is to stop using them.
3. Third-party content
From time to time, the site or apps might include guest content or contributors. Their views are their own, and they're responsible for any claims or statements they make, not us. We don't always verify or endorse third-party content, so if something looks off, please double check it before acting on it.
4. External links
We might link to other websites or services. These are provided for convenience only, we don't control them, and we're not responsible for anything they do or say.
5. Commercial relationships
If you engage Multima Limited for advice, consultancy, workshops or training, that relationship is governed by a separate agreement for that engagement. Nothing on this site or in the apps forms part of that agreement.
6. Future features and services
We may offer new features or services in future, including paid content, communities and downloads. These will be subject to separate terms if and when they're launched.
7. Governing law
This disclaimer, and everything else on the site and in the apps, is governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
